On Tuesday, September 30, 2025, Coronado’s cross country teams had another impressive victory. The meet was at Sonata Park and Coronado competed against multiple teams from several different schools. The meet took place at 3:30pm for the boys team, and 4:00pm for the girls team. Both the boys and girls teams did incredible in their placings.
Coronado’s women’s cross country team absolutely dominated the field with our very own senior Brooklyn Miller placing first in the meet. Coronado’s men’s cross country team also did incredible, with another first place winner, senior Jacob Sturm. Coronado’s teams impressed yet again with first-place victories.
“The cross country season is going really well,” said freshman Avery Stanton. “We are a good team this year and work really hard.”
As well as being incredible runners, the cross country team also gets to create bonds and build friendships throughout the season. By bonding as a team, they are able to perform better together on the field.
“My favorite thing about this year's season is probably the bus rides, especially the one to Cali and back, and that everyone is nice and we all get along so well,” Avery Stanton explained.
Coronado’s girls and boys cross country teams have been very successful so far in their season, placing incredibly in meets. There is no doubt that this team will go far this season!
