Hi! My name is Caleigh and I am the co-editor-in-chief & sports editor for the 25-26 school year. This is going to be my fourth year in a journalism program, I’m a second year sports editor, and first year co-eic. I’m so grateful to be here because writing is something I’m extremely passionate about. It is such an important skill to have and it gives me a platform to talk about things I deeply care about, like the environment and sustainabiity.

Hello! My name is Mila and this is my third year in a journalism program. This is my second year of being the Arts & Entertainment Editor, and then my first year of being Co Editor in Chief at Nado. I love to write about movies, tv shows, and anything I’m passionate about in pop culture. This is my last year at Nado, but not my last year of journalism, so I can’t wait to make the most out of this year!!!

Hello there! I’m Ashley and I am the news editor for this 25-26 school year. This will be my second year writing for the CHS Roar. I love to read, write, draw and express myself, and journalism allows me to do all of the above! Ever since I touched a newspaper, I knew I wanted to be involved. Now I am proud to say that I am! I can’t wait to see what’s next for the Roar!

Hi! My name is Jenai and I am the Feature Editor for the 2025-2026 school year.This is my second year in Journalism and I was placed in the original journalism foundations class in 9th grade. Being in that class reminded me how much I love writing especially recipes, and every day I am more and more grateful to be part of this class and the teacher who makes it happen. I’m excited to see all the wonderful things that will happen this school year!

Hey! My name is Ashlin and I am the opinion editor for the Coronado High School journalism team in the 2025-2026 school year. This will be my sophomore year and my second year on the CHS team but my third year pursuing journalism. I initially took inspiration from none other than Rory Gilmore (Gilmore Girls), but it was my middle school English teachers who truly solidified my love for journalism writing as a whole. I am so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this organization and I cannot wait to see where this year will take us!
