“It felt great playing against Desert Oasis and being able to be back on the courts playing with this great team,” junior Gavin Hayden said. “Our team has a lot of depth this year and we hope we can make a good run in states.”

The Cougars came into the match ready to play hard and stayed focused throughout the day. Both teams showed strong effort on the courts and were able to stay composed during decisive points. The players continued to push themselves and kept the energy high, supporting their teammates throughout the match

“I think we played really well today and stayed focused from the first point to the last,” stated Samuel Wayment, 10. “It feels good to see all the work we've put in during practice pay off when it matters.”
