GOAT is the newest animated adventure that has galloped into theaters, and watching it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The film follows the journey of a young goat named Gus, who dreams of winning the Golden Fleece at the annual Mountain Games. The film’s vibrant animation style is visually appealing, with the characters’ designs being both charming and expressive, and the landscapes made it very new and exciting, much like the old Disney movies I used to watch.

The story is well-crafted, with a clear narrative that keeps you engaged. Gus faces many challenges, including his own self-doubt and the competitive nature of the games. The script blends humor with moments of emotion. The movie also highlights major factors that people face. Many feel the run time of the movie (which is an 1 hour and 40 minutes)  was good because it allowed the story to flow without feeling rushed.

The humor they incorporate in GOAT is another major strength. The film incorporates a variety of comedic styles that make all age groups laugh. I went with my younger brother and grandma, and we all thought the movie was funny with jokes that everyone understood. They were also all well-timed with how this new generation does their timing of their jokes.

While the film GOAT was engaging, it follows a familiar plot that a lot of Disney movies do. However, it was one of the better ones because the message that it gave was a very important message that could be for people who get discouraged by a small physical trait, even if it doesn’t define us.

GOAT is a fantastic film that successfully combines stunning animation, a compelling story, and memorable characters. It is very heartwarming and entertaining, which makes it one of the better kid’s movies I have seen in a long time. I highly recommend that you go see this movie with your family and get a good laugh while also hearing an important message.
