On Monday, March 23rd, 2026, Coronado’s varsity men’s volleyball team took on Foothill High School on our home court. The match unfortunately ended with a final score of 2-3. Despite the loss, the boys undoubtedly worked hard on the court.

The game was close, coming down to the final set. The team is working extremely hard both on and off the court to come back strong. Junior Thomas Rowley dove deeper into what the team is doing on the court to strengthen their performance.

“I think we are focusing on doing the little things as well as working more as a cohesive unit to help us win a few more points and get us past the home stretch,” Rowley said.

When it comes to building up their performance, the boys aren’t just putting work in on the court, but also off. As a team, they are focusing on not only strengthening, but reinforcing the bond they share. Rowley gave some insight on what they have been doing lately to do so.

“We are actually in Hawaii right now to play in a tournament, which is a great bonding experience for us all,” Rowley stated.

If you would like to cheer on your Coronado men's volleyball team at their next home game, join us on Tuesday, April 7th to watch them face off with Centennial. Hope to see you there, Cougars!
